So, my Vikings got absolutely demolished yesterday. I didn't even watch the second half with how bad they were playing. Just... no comment on that game...
But tomorrow's Christmas Eve! Super fun day for me, since that's pretty much the main Christmas celebration for my family. Going to see Desolation of Smaug tomorrow, too, so that should be awesome. So, have some awesome holidays, fellow HQers!
@Jad: Yeah, it's pretty crazy. Soon, I'll be a legitimate adult with a full-time job and responsibilities and stuff... Hopefully. Weird.

@Iron: Well, I think a big part of all that is that Spidey's supposed to be the underdog. That's kinda his thing. But, it'd be interesting to see him grow and change some. There's a point where it's tough to be the underdog when you've beaten Firelord (yep, I'm pulling out that card now) and been an Avenger for a decade. I think some of it comes from the fact that Marvel doesn't always like to let its characters grow because it's tough to make new characters to fill those underdog type roles once you have Spidey grow up a bit. New heroes just never seem to catch on, and they pretty much don't even try to make new ones anymore because of that. That's always been the tough thing about comics. They have to keep going forever, so a character never really "wins" and rides off into the sunset because there's a new villain showing up next month. So, you end up with characters regressing like this sometimes.
