poor people can afford consoles because they arent expensive, and it wasnt an insult just friendly advice.

 

your post looks like you are paranoid that because a hybrid weapon that isnt that great is linked to DLC that all of a suddent they are going to give a huge advantage to people with cash. being realistic, that would likely kill their game. is there a successful model of this anywhere in the video game industry? the only successful model i can think of that follows this is trading card games, and even then you have to be skilled enough to know how to use the tools you paid for.

 

Show me a successful model of pay for a game then pay for transactions to have a chance against the competition. if there is one then your fear might be justifiable, but i can think of a lot of free to play games that attempted micro transactions and failed miserably. i dont play all of activision's games but as far as i know none of them use microtransactions for an advantage. what makes you think that because of one weapon they will change their entire business model?
