Dear Satakyn,
Let's not forget that this is entirely your own personal opinion and though it may also be the opinion of many others, especially those who have no skill at quickscoping themselves and wish they did, or - understandably - those who cannot play for more than 10-15 hours a month and can therefore get no better at quickscoping, I have my own opinion and hardly find this to be a "protip," as you have stated.
I do not imply that quickscopers "weren't ruining the CoD experience," I wholly admit that as far as my own personal experience is concerned, whether I myself was quickscoping or not, I was never bothered by it as much as I have been bothered by other factors (i.e. players in objective modes who do not play the objectives, extremely glitchy matches, hackers, and people exploiting spawn locations in matches where the spawn is having trouble switching due to some connection issue).
What is ruining Call of Duty is this sudden interest Infinity Ward has given to casual players who may or may not buy their next game, by making the game easier for them to score, while they neglect what their longtime fans, who usually purchased and have owned many or every CoD game, enjoyed about the series.
Also, the drop-shooting problem is, once again, your own opinion and that of others who don't like the challenge of taking down people who use Scufs or similar controllers. You want a game in which all factors are easily under your control and the rules are what they are and they never change and the game is fun to play because it is like a single player game where you can outsmart the computer after a hundred tries, but you want to play this game with other people in it. Guess what? This is multiplayer gaming. Everyone has a right to the things they enjoy about their multiplayer experience as long as the rules of the game itself are being followed at the most basic level. Scuf controllers don't turn any player into a god or something. This isn't like the modded controller that made the Magnum fully automatic or anything like that. This is a mod that lets a player go prone as they are shooting you or jump in the same manner. If you cannot follow your target, then you need to up your game. This is not an AI you are going against. This is another human being, in their own room, doing nothing more than enjoying the game themselves, with every right to.
If you said something against hackers and glitch-exploiters, I would be in total agreement with you, but you did not.
Best regards,
