I cannot install or play COD:Ghosts (Xbox 360). New game for me.

Hello,

 

When I insert Disc 2: Install Disc, it gives me: "Error: Selected save device has been lost",

 

When I insert Disc 1: Game Disc, it says there is an update available, which I must download, but then gives me an Update Failed alert.


OTHER FACTS:
- My Xbox LIVE connection is up and running excellent with very high cable Internet speed.

- I have n Xbox 360 Slim and using a 320 GB hard drive newly purchased and never used. 

- I did a Clear Cache maintenance on the hard drive.

- I unplugged everything and removed the hard drive, waited 5 minutes, put everything back in, still the same issues.

 

I contacted Microsoft and they gave me a number to call for Activision, which does not have a single live human and referred me to these forums.


Is there a solution to this issue?
