Although there are probably 1,000's of threads regarding quickscoping, people have to realize how quickly they get off topic. Take this thread for example. The OP posts about how he thinks quickscoping is unfair. 3 minutes later, he is met with a post that has no relevance to the topic. Followed by 13 posts that don't regard the topic.

As the OP stated, if you don't want to discuss his topic, or find it to be spam, report it and move on. There is no need to litter the thread with.. well.. litter.

In regards to quickscoping in Black Ops II, I find it really weird that after Modern Warfare 2, and all the quickscopers in that game, Treyarch was set on not catering to quickscoping. After Modern Warfare 3, and seeing that it brings in more people, they incorporated it into Black Ops II. Personally, I enjoyed Black Ops I for that. They took a stand, now, however, it seems that they have given in to the money, and will destroy a community for it.

I'm not gonna lie, I enjoyed doing private match games in MW2 doing quickscopes only, but I don't think that it has a place in "competitve gaming" as Call of Duty has come to identify itself as. I think that there should be a damage start off for snipers. Anything within 10 yards should be half damage. This would limit the number of people charging around, dropshotting/quickscoping enemies. I realize that this isn't a "realistic" game, but all the other guns seem to be balanced. Why leave the snipers out of the conversation? And I realize that most people go 10-20 when using snipers and quickscoping, but the 10 kills that they got are usually cheap kills that do nothing but provide montage clips for a YouTube video, or aggravate the community.
